ACC (AIDS Caring Committee) is a volunteer group of learners who uphold lifestyle values and choices that can safeguard their generation and themselves from HIV infection. They have a particular attachment to the House of Resurrection AIDS Haven.

ACC is committed to serving a community ravaged by this disease in practical ways and with compassionate deeds.The challenges for havens across our city continue with thousands being affected by a disease that can so easily be prevented.

The ACC Board and members have continued this year with fundraising efforts and visits to the House of Resurrection Aids Haven. Even though the Board was small in number, ongoing efforts to raise money are greatly appreciated. It is also encouraging to see how many of our members faithfully supported the visits made this year.

More than ever our young people are urged to make a stand for themselves about lifestyles and morals that could save their lives. It is our sincere hope that the Victoria Park family will be those who are determined to protect themselves by upholding values of self-respect that will put a stop to them becoming yet another statistic.
