Swimming 2009
The VP Swimming team had a good year, participating in B Age Group gala’s, the top 9 Gala and swimming in the Redhouse River mile.
Guppy Fish remains our champion swimmer with numerous outstanding achievements. Stef Stoltz, Takara Erikson, Tilden Plaatjies and Raynaldo Arnoldus are swimmers to watch out for in the future as evident in their admirable performances in the Age Group Gala. Not only did VP shine in the pool but also in the sea as Wayne Jones was selected to represent Eastern Province as a Lifesaver, well done!
We welcome Miss Botha as our new coach, and look forward to a great season as we are planning to swim the Midmar Mile in February next year.
